My plate was good, but the service from the cashier just ruined it for me. When I paid I put the change in my pocket and she says in a loud manner "don't forget to leave the tip" I said " I wont" and she said "well I saw you put it in your pocket" in front of everyone there. The tip was actually already on the table since b4 I paid. I don't think ill ever return to a place where I get looked down upon as if I'm a cheapskate...I can only imagine what else she thought of me. ×update× I returned guys, I have since been back twice. I couldnt resist and thankfully and gratefully i have been treated GREAT!. I guess that first lady just wasn't haven't a good day... the cooks and waitresses work super hard and are great at there job! Im updating from 3 to 5 's.

When I tell you it’s worth the drive to Mississippi, it is! Best food at a truck stop. You wouldn’t think this little run down looking truck stop in the middle of nowhere would have a quaint little grill and dish out the biggest, juiciest, flavorful ribeye steak dinner! Cheaper and better than any steakhouse I’ve been to. The blackberry cobbler….let me tell you….I would move mountains for! Always try to stop in when I’m on I80 coming through there. Wish they were open a little later. The staff at the grill were awesome! Cashiers at the store were ok. Don’t expect a Loves when you get there. It’s not all fancy with a person yelling welcome to Loves every corner you take in the store. They don’t have showers and all that but the food and truck parking is worth every bit of the detours I have taken to get there. Ample truck parking in the dirt lot across the street just watch out for potholes.

The only thing I can say is, go there hungry! If you're not hungry, you will be when you smell those ribs. They are MASSIVE. Not only are they large, but they have practically no fat on them. They look like the dinosaur ribs from the Flintstones. We got it to-go and the box where the ribs were easily weighed about almost 5 lbs. The Mac and Cheese had absolutely no right being that delicious. It was creamy, cheesy, had just the right amount of pepper. The onions rings were crispy, fresh and not at all greasy. This is a definite must try.

Yes they make fresh food to order. Idk what that other comment below mine was about. 100% good food and beer when you shut the rig down for the night. Love this mom and pops place.

Awesome home town dinner. Food was delicious (big servings), staff was courteous and the patrons were friendly. Well worth the 275 mile ride. I will be returning to try their ribeye steak..

This is a dirt lot but definitely a hidden gem. The food was great and very affordable. It is a pretty large lot that never fills up completely. There are potholes, so watch what you're doing. But definitely a great lot to park in overnight.
